Destiny 3 will not come soon, but Bungie has "a lot of cool things to say about this"

Destiny 3 "will have to wait a little longer", according to the director of communications of Bungie, David 'Deej' Dague.

In an interview with PCGAMESN, Deej shared that the Bellevue development team, Washington, focuses only on the fact of making "the seasons that will take place in the next year interesting" for the fans of the existing Destiny 2.

"I have no good announcements to make on the next daring movements that we will do in the franchise," he revealed when asked for a suite. "At the moment, our commitment and our attention are to make the seasons that will take place during the next year interesting and to maintain a perennial History arc that will keep the players engaged."

The statement does not mean that Bungie does not look at the future of the franchise and does not explore where it could lead in the coming years. Indeed, the communications manager added that "we will have a lot of nice things to say about this later", even if "I am afraid that this moment will wait a little longer".

So...Destiny 3? Destiny 2 was released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in September 2017, and its life cycle of almost three years has spread rumors that a sequel would have already been in preparation and about to be revealed 'next year.

Bungie separated from the Activision publisher and became the owner of the ____Stin_ IP. The studio has often pointed out that it would have focused on the current game rather than a new one, and the new season was called The Dawning is probably a good example of what we should expect from the series in the future.
